Were can I get new wireing harness plugs

Well I am just full of questions tonight, and I am wondering were I can get wireing harness plugs. Since almost everyone on my TII's wireing harness is broken or melted. So if anyone know of a website of company that makes/sells them I would be very greatful.

Thanks, Cory

It is almost impossible for a single person to get the plugs used in most cars. In many cases the plugs are propritory, and the manufacture of the plug is under contract not to sell the plug to anyone other than the car manufactures harness subcontractor.

When I worked with DEI, I was able to get quite a few samples because our company (and my project there for a couple years) was building harnesses that interfaced with the OEM harnesses to allow plug and play aftermarket security systems to be installed. Even then as a $100Mil a year company it was like pulling teeth to get a manufacture to release the plugs for us to use.

You may wish to try Painless wiring, as we considered subcontracting through them for some of the North American built vehicles (Honda, Mazda, Ford, some Toyota), but I am sure that they will want an actual product (such as a T2 engine harness) and a commitment to buy at least a couple hundred units before they would consider selling or even ordering the parts to make the plugs.

Ouch, that sucks. That means I'm probably going to have to buy a new wireing harness. But I'll search for that web site and check them out.

Cory, check out some JDM retailers. ALOT of them stock harnesses for t2's. Just swap the harness... a day's worth of work

Well I just wanted to buy new plugs becuase the harness is out of the car, and laying out on our garauge floor right now. But it will probably be cheaper and easier to just buy a good used one.

But I have never looked, so who sells JDM parts?

look up "Engine Importers" under the yellow pages. There should be a few.

When I was in Raleigh, North Carolina... there were at least two in the city.

You could try your luck with E-Bay...

D#mn, I can't use E-bay, I'm not 18. I hate that, I tried to sign up, and it wouldn't let me, although I could get my brother to buy something if I wanted it.

But I'll look that up, and search the internet for it to.

I'm not catching the hint since I don't know how much a microtech is.

OK in the first picture I just need the one plug that is broken

In the second picture I just need the one plug that is melted, and I also need to know what it goes to.

And in the third picture I need all 6 of the plugs that are in that picture, and the reason why I was looking for new plugs is because someone has replace one of the injector plugs in that picture (The black and blue one that still actually has the metal clipp on it)

That one doesn't connect to anything except the two light bulbs when you set the TPS. There's no need to replace that one, it's still useable as long as you use spade connectors.

Oooops I should have known that, for some reason I was thinking it was under the intake. And I couldn't remember were it went.
