Yes actually, because one of my major concerns was reliability. I've had almost very failure possible on my car in the past (besides electrical problems) so part of what I've done is correct these problems. Silicone heater hoses, for example. While they are very expensive, even $300 worth of heater hose is far less expensive then being stuck at the side of the road with a broken stock hose. Or worse yet, losing an engine to it. Same with braided stainless and AN fittings. Yes, they're nice eye candy and all that, but I've had multiple leaks in the old rubber hose (truthfully, because it was old...) that left me stranded so I was not about to repeat that.

At autozone, the FI hose cost me 4.50 a foot (cut to length)....they had pre-packaged 1-foot length FI hose on the shelf for 8 bucks a foot...trying to figure out how they're going to sell the 1-foot length, when you can go have them hack you off a foot for 4.50.

Also, I'm feeling quite lucky, as the TPS was just that the connnector hadn't totally clicked... so now the only code it's throwing is number 30, for the split air solenoid, but it's not hooked up to the cat anyway, so...

I also need to get another quart of a oil since it's about a 1/4th quart low, but since the leaky OMP is just making a mess, rather than causing any major problems, I'll fix it whenever I have the cash to order new brass washers, gaskets, and the O-ring (it's 8 farking dollars for one rubber O-ring!)... although I already have some spare washers, so I just need the 5-hole gasket and the o-ring.
