Well... I think it's time...

Ok, guys. I've been thinking about this for a while, and I think I'm about ready. I currently have a 1991 black na auto, and I'm getting really anxious about getting a manual na or a TII, but I need to sell this one first. It's in pretty good condition, but it needs some work. compression on the rear housing is borderline, but the engine still runs strong, just won't idle with the AC on. speaking of the AC, it's brand new. when I bought the car over the summer, the AC was completely dry-rotted, and so I put in a brand new one (factory new). the body's got some problems, there're a couple of dings. the bumper and driver's fender need to be replaced, but that will be done before it is sold. tires are fairly new, still have good tread. Needs a paint job. that's about it. I'm looking to get about $2-3000 for it. I bought it 6 months ago for $3000, and have since put in over a thousand more.

Well it will be hard to get that much from anyone on here since they know it has low(or lower) compression PLUS its an auto. $2000 in great condition is a good price for someone on here. You might be able to get what your asking from someone off the forum though.

On another note, if you are looking for another FC get a TII. You will not be disappointed. Trust me. I went from an NA to a TII. Its Grrrrreeaaattt!!

Sure it's not just a BAC problem causing your AC idle issues?

it might be BAC problems, but the rear housing is still borderline... but as I said, it still runs strong, and I haven't had any major problems since I bought it except the dry-rotted AC and some body damage which I'm getting fixed soon.

personally, I have neither the time nor the money to do a transmisson swap AND drop in a new engine.
