installing greddy intercooler...
We're in the middle of installing the fmic and can't see where the actual intercooler bolts up to. Anyone have any pics or a description for me? Dale gave the instructions in japanese but I left them at home(d'oh!). The bracket on the top of the intercooler definitely doesn't seem to have anywhere to mount to. Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks alot.

I paid $885 shipped for it. My question is what do I do with the extra hoses that were on the stock i/c? Do I just cap them off or what? Today I got the bumper off, the intercooler, the old piping and hoses and everything and the throttle body adaptor. There is this like air filter or something over by the throttle body adaptor that has to be moved(hopefully someone will know what I'm talking about), I just bent the metal line down and am going to make it so its under the TB adaptor. I know I have to move the fuse block and coils in the front and I found out I had to move my boost sensor for my boost gauge over on the passenger side. Its a little bit more work than I thought but with better weather and maybe some real instructions I could get it done quicker. Should be done tomorrow though.

Hey I already got it off, ghetto style mane, lol. We took the bolts off the TB adaptor and had to push down on the bracket until we could get to that last nut that is under the TB adaptor. Major PITA but didn't have to take off the UIM at least. Oh and does anyone know what the black filter or check valve or something is? Its like between the stock TB adaptor and the oil filler neck.

Ill try to explain this as good as I can. The flat bracket is used to support the top of the intercooler as show in the pic. The bottom it mounted using the 2 offset brackets and they screw into holes on your car that are there from the factory. You must cut off the 2 tab on each side of the car so the intercooler will sit flat up against the front of the car. Hope that helps.

I'm not sure I have that bracket for the top, is that stock or it comes with the kit? And on the bottom, do I need to drill holes or what? I have 2 little ledges on each side that I could screw into but there aren't holes in them.

Oh so I have to cut those ledges off? Alright that makes more sense. I didn't look to close in the little box that came with it since I didn't have any instructions or any papers at all with it. I'll see if I have that if not I'll fab something up.
Oh and on www.2751engineering.com on the yellow TII they have some brackets welded to the i/c pipes. Thats not how they come right? Oh and how much do you have to cut to get from the front to the engine bay? You have to move the coils up front and the fuse block right? Thanks for the help man.
