fired my new rebuilt tii

well today i fired my tii swap. And when i i say swap i mean everything. Rebuilt the motor myself with no help. I ran into a few problems but fixed them and it fired right up. Thanks to all of the people who helped me on my questions and problems.

Why did you hire it if you were going to turn around and fire it?

lol.

Congrats. There isn't much like the feeling of the first drive in a big completed project.

hmm, may be a leaky injector or sumpthin. but you have to run it for a while to get the seals seated for good compression.

sounds like you still have gas in the system or something ..

i have a kill switch on mine, and when i kill it , it will still run for a few seconds ... i assumed it was just the left over fuel still going thru the system

You have the two small wires to the alt backwards or you have timing off

i have a switch wired in my car that cuts fuel, too

sometimes it'll switch the car off in less than ~3 seconds, sometimes it'll take more than 5...
