Weird vibration/bumping

As some know I used to have bad tires, got them all replaced.

Now the car doesn't pull right anymore or anything but Ive been noticing theres a bumping still.

It seems to be the right rear (Which used to have the worst condition tire of all with a huge erection tent we drove it for a few months like that, my dad said it may affect the bearings?

I never noticed this before but now the car rides so smooth you can feel any bump n such, whenever I'm going between 10-40 it seems to do this bumping in the back, any slower or faster roughly and you dont hear/feel anything.

It's very very very slight, I'm not alarmed at all I'm just curious what this could be

Jack up the car and try to move the wheel back and forth to see if there is any play in it. My first suspect would be the DTSS bushing since they commonly wear out over time. You may need a firend to try to move the wheel while you feel around to try to figure out where the play is. Make sure the car is properly supported by jack stands so it dosn't fall on you while your doing this.

could be something as simple as a mis-balanced wheel too. Double check you have not lost some wheel weights and shock condition.

swap rim from back to front to see if the bumping moves to the front.

Well I had all the wheels rebalanced sine the place we got the rear tires from just threw on random looking weighs and didn't even properly torq the nuts (They did it to like 120 :|)

I'll jack it up n check that sounds like a good idea.

Icemark I probably do need new shocks, they are as old as the car but it handles fine so i never bothered to change them yet

Yeah, but a bad shock will let the wheel bounce all over the place and not stay in control.

And that is the problem, right??? Wheel bouncing and vibration while driving? Did I understand your description correctly?

It's like a slight bumping from 10 or so mph till 35-40 maybe and it stops.

You dont so much feel it but you hear

"dun, dun, dun"

doesnt seem to speed up the quicker you go either thats why I'm confused what it is.

yeah Check the suspension and shocks then if it does not change speed.

If you push down on that corner of the car on the bumper a couple of times, so that it is rocking up and down, when you stop pushing it should not bounce back, but simply return and stop in the normal at rest position/height.

If it bounces up and down a time or two more after you stop pushing/rocking, then the shock is worn out and needs replacing.

If you hear a clunk when pushing/rocking, then something is loose, or you have a bad shock.

that creak is from the bushings if I recall my dad lubed them when he used to drive the car and it stopped for a few months, he said after they get hot/cool repeat for a few months the bushings are stiff and cause noise.

You should jack up your car and feel the tires, if it feels like a bump in your tire and your car feels like its going to the side (When you take turns does it seem to move far out of line?) probably is your tire then.

The front one had something wrong with it alike the rear but no tire shop could feel a lump, it was after a spun out it started happening.
