Arrow weird switch

Hey everyone, i just joined up. I am in the process of aquiring a 1988 Rx7 Turbo with 150,000 kilometers on it. It has Ractive exhuast kit, and cold air intake. Body and paint are brand new. Aftermarket rims and tired like new. Its beautiful. He wants 6000 Canadian. Is that too much?? Plus i noticed it has bad seats..How much could i poick up used leather ones for? And i also noticed a small green switch in the center console between the seats...what the heck is this?!

Thanks
Aaron

Small green switch may be wired the the fuel pump to kill it, to prevent flooding. I've seen a few 86-88 '7 owners do this. How bad are the seats? Has the engine been rebuilt? Its nearing 100k miles, it may be getting a little tired. I'd get a compression check. Ran a quick search of the for sale section, seems that you can get a set of used seats for about ~$310CAN ($250USD).

the problem with the used seats is they are all **** by now. New leathers are $550 and you install or take it the upholstry shop.

If compression is good and the body is straight and has new paint like you say, I'd do it. But the ultimate decision is up to you.

Could it possibly be a rear fog light switch? I believe this was standard in some models delivered to countries requiring a rear fog light.

I have a pair of nice black leather seats from a 10th anniversary RX-7 that will fit in your car without modification, I want $250+shipping for the pair, PM if interseted.

Just ASK the owner what the switch is for, if you're so curious
