Weird Starting Problem on S5 NA Help ME!!

well... its really starting to **** me off now...

if i leave my car overnight.. it will start perfect in the morning... i do a proper warm up and drive it around and make sure its up to temp before shutting it off...

if i park my car for lets say 30 mins... i come back and try to start it and it wont start....

BUT

i let my car sit for lets say 1-2 hours and come back and try agian it will start perfectly fine.. although i need to push the gas and it shoots the revs up to like 2k and then back down... if i dont push the gas it wont start...

this is seriously an embarassing issue as i cannot even go out and get my tires changed and some other work i need done... including smog!..

help me guys..

thanks

iam happy to see iam not alone on this...

is there anything you do to try and get the car started?

someone suggested to me to change the spark plug wires with some new ones as well as the distributor cap.. but i dont think rx7s have a distributor cap....

althought i will change the wires this weekend... geez this weekend is gonna be a major spending and working day for my rx7...

my car starts perfectly fine and revs up to 3k rpms like it's suppose too but when its kind of cold it doesn't do the warm up revs and just stays at 1k, anyone know what's up?

come on guys, does no one have the solution to this one? That's hard to believe. My series 5 na has the same problemo. It will start fine when cold. I will drive it until it warms up, shut it off, try to start it about 10 mins later and it cranks great but won't start. I need this thing fixed yesterday!

thanks
