Ok well I have an oil leak, I just noticed a couple of days back and think I have pinpointed the source to the K&N oil filter, or right under, like if it was oozing out from uinder it, any ideas what could cause this?

 

Let me add the the filter is as old as the engine, which is about 500 miles old. (The car had this problem from the beginning of the rebuild but I wasn't able to pinpoint where)

 

Check the oil filter pedestal. There are 2 o-rings between the block and it. It's a simple 2 10mm bolts.
Change them since they are hard as a rock if you still have the original engine.
