While in gear say 3rd driving winding roads and start to apply brakes while in gear at say 5000rpm, the car almost gives me the feeling of brake pulsation, Put car into neutral and brake, no brake pulsation present, feels like drive train is maybe binding on decel but only applying brakes, this is a 1986 t2 swapped car, poly engine and trans mounts, solid delrin diff mounts, everything other bushing is poly, Anyone had similar symptoms? need somewhere to start looking, maybe thing my transmission cross mount center bushing is going? maybe bad ujoint

how long has this been happening? does it coincide with any repairs or modifications?

 

I installed this used transmission last year, didn't hear any noises, also didn't drive it alot, mt90 was used for transmission fluid, swapped transmissions from my old one due to difficulty shifting, at this point after thinking over night I think it's time to yank it out and have someone look over the transmission.
