unlock the other door or go through the hatch..... then see if you can open the damaged door from inside...

This has happened to me. If the door handle feels loose then the little part that pushes down as you pull up broke off. It sucks that everything inside the door is packed in so tight. You'll have to remove the window to get the two bolts off the handle.

you don't have to remove the window - just roll it up all the way.

Why can't you open the hatch or the other door, specifically?

Is your door handle broken for sure?

umm, these cars are pretty easy to break in to, grab a coat hanger and go for it, I've got it down to a science now and can get into my car faster with a coathanger than I can with the key.

Wow I can't see anyway to get in besides breaking a window. The hatch is inaccesable both doors locked so even if you unlock them with the coathanger still no go. Looks like breaking a window is your only option.

How is unlocking them with a coathanger a no-go? All he has to do is lock it before he gets out and carry a coathanger around with him. He doesn't have to break a single window.

Even if the handle is broken he should still be able to hook the bar that runs to the lock mechanism and pop it open.
