weird clunking

I put some tokico shocks/springs on my car a little while ago, and ever since I've noticed a little clunk from the back every once in a while. Whenver I go over a bump when turning (the roads in town suck b/c we had some snowstorms recently), there is a clunk from the back. It's not the diff or anything, and it varies depending on what I'm doing. It can be just the right, just the left, or both. The right usually seems to clunk harder than the left though (if that makes any difference). This never happans in the front.
The car handles great, I just want to know what's going on, and if it's a problem.
I checked in the back, the shock isn't hitting the hub, and the wheel isn't hitting the wheelwell. Is the shock bottoming out or something? They don't feel worn out. The car rides a lot lower with these shocks too, so could that be a problem, like an A-arm hitting the body or something?

BTW: these shocks have about 40k on them, and came off of a car that got rear-ended, but they didn't appear to be damaged.

the best thing i can tell you is to put oem size shocks back on the car....they are sensitive to hight..they do not have a lot of room for height adjustment. or use stiffer springs to compensate

you mean put OEM size springs back on the car?

The shocks aren't a different size.

you could put a little spacer in on top or bottom of the pring, and see if that makes it stop. then it is most likely the shock bottoming out.

BTW, they're suspension techniques springs

I did notice that when the car is jacked up, that the springs are loose in the rears, you can move them by hand. Were they cut or something, or just worn out, or is that the way they're supposed to be?

do you think the extra stiffness is exposing an old bushing for it's crappyness?
