weird clicking/knock after shutting down car

Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what is going on here? It happens almost every time I shut off the car. It will knock/click for about 15 minutes or so then stop.

It sounds like it is coming from the rear of the car

Malfunctioning power antenna?

Exhaust contracting as it cools?

Is one of your rims hot? Caliper might be stuck a lil and heating up your rotor and wheel. The sound may be metal cooling/contracting .

noises

Is that right after the car was warm and then shut off? My car makes noises similar to that that are from the exhaust cooling but the noises are much more frequent then that.

Yours almost sounds like the Ebrake is on and its not holding well enough. So the car is rolling a very small bit.

I thought it was my brake too, but my garage is pretty level. If I don't use the e-brake after parking then it won't roll anywhere. I was hoping it was just the exhaust cooling.

And no, my rim isn't hot. It was warmed up for like 10 minutes and then moved. (from driveway into garage)

Are you positive its coming from the rear? Theres alot of metal expanding and contracting, if your hearing it when you pull into your garage, theres a possibility what your hearing is coming from the front of the car and its echoing and it sounds like it coming from the rear
