Putting my 7 on a streetable track diet. So far im down 150lbs. Im curious if anyone know the weights of the stock stereo system? Trying to decide if I should toss it or not. Obviously its SOMETIMES fun, but the cassette player and EQ don't work so im stuck to maybe 1 FM radio channel that sometimes plays an ok song. If its a tiny amount of weight ill probably just forget it, but if it ends up being 30+lbs for everything ill probably gut it.

Anyone measured this stuff before? never seen it brought up in a weiht reduction thread.

 

its in the FD book, i think if you put the whole thing together its like 25lbs or something. a modern deck and 2 speakers will save a bunch of weight and sound just as good...
