I see this question come up alot, about how much stuff weighs, so I thought Id weigh my engine while I had it laying around. S4 N/A shortblock, with nothing on it more than the waterpump and housing, weighs 191lbs.

 

Yep, that is why I went back to N/A power on my 'vert... 200-250 lbs saved over the turbo engine and turbo driveline.
