weighed my T2 today

according to the scale at englishtown weighed in at 2845 that is completely stock. it is missing the rear bins and stereo at the moment.

Hmmm, so 89-91 TII's are NOT as heavy as everyone sez they are. Everyone quotes a 3003 pound curb weight...I'm glad they're wrong.

if you put downpipe midpipe and single exhaust, take off the ac. you should be down to 2700 or so lbs. i'll weigh it again once i do all that

Watch it...you're looking for gross weight.&nbsp "Curb" weight is the vehicle load with max carrying capacity, I believe...

My '89 T2 weighed in at 2940# (+/- 10#). This was with some tools in the car, full tank, no driver, no stereo or speakers, no a/c at all, no rear rubber pad, no rear hatch cover thing. With all the stuff that was out, I could imagine 3k# is about right. My car has the leather interior and probably every other option that was available.

my '86 GXL with '90 TII engine, manifolds, turbo and dash, 3 inch single exhaust, 17" chrome mags, full interior weighed in at 2660#
