And its sealed up off top (the black parts in the picture) from the engine bay, except for the front which lets some air get in.
May not be the best product, but alot of people won't pay for anything else (my anything else, I mean more $$), I think it gits-r-done enough until someone builds their own CAI.
Its better then just a filter on the afm hopefully
