Looks like dryer hose painted black. I'd say don't waste your money.

yep thats it i think it is dryer hose , well about 4 years i did , it was a big mistake. It didn't work worth a damn under a little bit of pressure the flex would fold over and clog the its self. I ended up replacing all the flex tube with 3 1/2" pipe and only using the scoop that came with the ram air kit. After that i could get the car up to 141mph in places it would usualy only get to 125 or so . That was amazing to me until i got my first t2....

do a google search on ram air and learn how it works
