S5 NA with S4 TII swap

I have an S5 NA that I'm doing a TII swap on. I have everything needed for the swap but I'm not sure how to get my S5 NA cluster to work with the S4 TII ecu that I'm going to be using. All of the parts I'm getting are coming from an S4 TII donor car.

I found this thread by Icemark while searching, but I'm not sure if the same re-pinning will work for my car. https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-gen-archive-72/gauge-cluster-swap-pins-again-s4-wires-s5-cluster-285724/

I was reading this writeup by Kevin on Rotary Resurrection about the differences in the S4 and S5 dash harness and ecu plugs.

http://www.rotaryresurrection.com/2n..._s5_diffs.html

After reading that I'm not sure what to do about getting my cluster to work with the S4 ecu. Could I use the S4 TII dash harness and re-pin it to match my gauge cluster? I'm not sure. I suck at wiring.

if you have the whole donor car and really want to do this then swap the entire body harness so everything is plug and play.

the easier thing to do is use your stock s5 n/a wiring harness, sell the s4 turbo electronics for a pretty penny and snag a used n370 ECU, pressure sensor, and AFM.

But somewhere along the line,is he not going to need to do something about the OMP signal?(not a pro on this, just a wunderin?).
If you have the donor car,and the wiring from it.,Why use the s5 Cluster?.use the s4 TII cluser.
I'm doin a s5 Tii keg,to run as an S4 TII(s4 front cover omp deleted) in a s4 N/A.so I am going at it,through the "path of least resistance".

that's true, but he could have a s5 rtek chip installed, run the mechanic pump, and have the ability to up the boost.

My motor has an S5 front cover on it, but the omp is blocked off. I want the S5 cluster because I like the way it looks better and it has a volt meter.

So convert your s4 keg into a s5 t2 keg. switch front covers, for electric oil metering pump. Modify your n/a harness, to work with s5 t2 ecu. injectors. you get the picture...

I thought the timing was different on S4's and S5's.
