Has anybody used these intakes before? They look kinda cheezy and that kinda stuff usually doesn't work well but they say that they have rave reviews.

That's what I think about the claim that, "The V2 Filter was first designed because of the boring filters offered on the market at the time."

Obviously their priorities are in the right place!

the hype on their website is stupid. i got one for cheap off ebay awhile back. its ok but i think im gonna get a K&N. the foam in the weapon R seems a little too flimsy to me.

Look into a cold air intake. Either create a Cold air box or pipe the filter outside of the engine bay.

Plain K&N air filter works just as well. Your paying more for the looks of those types of air intakes.

Intake is a pipe and a filter... one works pretty much like the next. Just buy an autozone special intake, throw the junk filter away and slap a k&n on it. Unless you just dont want to spend the $ on a k&n, then just keep the ugly filter that comes with it.

Yeah I guess your right. I'll do that, but instead of the k&N ima put a HKS.

I'd stay away from foam filters. From what I gather they require more maintenance/replacement than paper filters that K&N and similar lines carry.
