Question Which way should the AFM go???

I upgraded to the HKS intake system, i have an 88 N/A and currently i have the AFM in the stock position (not turned around or anything). Ive read in many places that it should be turned 180 degrees. For aftermarket systems which way should the AFM go?? stock, 90, 180...what
Thanks guys

either black side up or black side down. it doesnt matter, the important thing is that its not on its side, because that will mess it up

Funklord is correct, if it is mounted side ways gravity will affect how the flap on the inside opens
