I heard that the corner seals have a certain way they have to go, is it flat side towards the irons? As for side seal clearance on a s4 tii, what do you fellas normally run?

The machined shinier side faces up. The underside almost has a pattern like a fingerprint. If you place them upside down the motor will still run but the irons will wear out much faster. Side seal clearance should be set depending on your power goals and how you are using the car. Up to 400hp I recommend .002". 450hp+ .0025, 500hp+ .003. Keep in mine that the loser you go the more blowby you may experience and it will slightly lower your compression numbers.
