have a coolent problem in my 86 n/a.what do think about this advice?sounds good to me

fyi my engine has good comp and is in good shape just damm coolet problem.what do you guys think,k&w the trick?

i know that many people use that with success in piston engines. i would be a little hesitant to use it in a rotary though. i would only use it as a last resort if you have no option of using it.

seems to me that the people who use that stuff are the kind that dont know any better or have a car they want to get rid of and use it as a quick fix before they dump it off on an unsuspecting victim. really i wouldnt want to use it in any car

WARNING: BE SURE READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS CLOSELY. Many of those leak stop additives tell you to drain the stuff after 20 minutes of running the engine because it will freeze up your water pump and can clog heater cores and other small passages in your engine.

I have heard lots of good stuff about the block seal product though. I heard one bad tale of a lady who put 3 cans in her car and didn't drain it, then the water pump seized and fell off.
