How long will my engine last with the bad waterjacket ? How much you think it would cost to get someoneto rebuild and fix this ?The engine has 500 miles on the breakin
I just recently had my car looked at by someone here and upon leaving my coolant buzzer went off to add coolant, and he found out there was alot of air in my coolant system. Ive overheated the car several times before because of a bad clutch fan and the car doesnt over heat anymore, but i know air is getting in.
update - i know there is alot of air in the system because my sensor for my watertemp gauge mounted downwards into the tstat neck registers no temp even when the car is warmed up , it takes a little while. This is because there is only air where the sensor is at until it gets more filled up.

Well, if you actually have a bad water seal and are getting enough water into your engine to burn good amounts of coolant, then not long. If you let the car sit for any length of time you are going to totally rust out the inside of the engine...everything related to the rotor with the bad water seal is going to corrode badly and be useless...Water leaks never fix themselves, they always get worse.

as far as how many times i overheated the car when the clutch fan was bad, id say about 3 - 6 or more times, (i kept trying to bleed it thinking it was cuz air was getting into this system) ..but new clutch fan fixed the oveheating but now i still have air getting in

also is it possible for the car not to smoke out the exhaust or overheat while the coolant seal is bad ?
i talked to felixwankel88 and he said his car didnt smoke or overheat when his coolant seal was bad, but he was losing coolant
also, i just recently did an oilchange, there was no coolant in the oil

can someone please help, if this car really does have a bad coolant seal then who knows what i am going to do.
Shelling out 1000-1500 dollars once and having to do it again just to replace the oil seals seems kind of rediculous, i already invested way more than the car is worth as it is
