water thermo sensor

is there any way around this thing? mine was busted when the PO replaced the alternator. now its a b word to try and start in the cold. what can i do to fix this. btw its broken on the harness side of the plug. and its a S4 NA

the s4 water themo sensor plug is the same plug as the BAC valve or the 88 injectors: square plug with an offset tab.



buy another plug here: http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/injector%20clips.htm or get one at carquest. tell them you need a Bosch fuel injector pig tail.

Those connectors have a center locating tab instead of an offset one (impossible to find the offset ones), so you will need to file the tab off altogether. IT's on the bottom part of the water thermosensor plug.

I have done this exact repair procedure on a BAC valve connector. But I actually depinned the broken BAC valve connector and inserted the pins into a new connector without cutting anything.

so does anyone have a picture of what hes talkin about? i dont wanna mess this up.
