Water source turbo motor w/NA rotor housings

I was wondering if anyone has any knows anything helpful on this topic, I bought some NA rotor housings awhile ago and I am gonna use them on my TII motor, I am using a ported NA intermediate plate, so here are my two questions

*what is the best was to fill the EGR holes on the primary intake ports on the NA intermediate housing, probably gonna get it brazed, any suggestions?

*I heard that there would be no water supply going to the turbo if I use NA rotor housings, so whats the easiest most effieciant way off tapping into a water source?

Thanks

Get an EGR block-off plate and drill into the coolant passge in the housing where the intake manifold goes.

I allready blocked off the EGR with a plate, I want to smooth out the airflow inside the port where there is a hole in each primart port so it doesnt obstruct airflow, or is this nessecary, and I am still no exactly sure where to drill

maybe I know what ur saying, are u sayint that I have to drill where the turbo manifolds water passage will contact the rotor housing so water will flow into the intake manifold and thus into the turbo, sorry if i sound dumb, its been a long day at work and I am tired
Thanks

If you dont want to go the way of drilling you can always just loop from the rear rotor housing water nipple to the turbo then back to the front waterpump housing nipple.

Don't port up too much. You'll run into the water jacket. For smoothing, there are epoxies that can be used, but I would always be afraid of it falling into the intake port. The gain would be so minimal anyway it's generally not worth it.

As for drilling out the water passage, there is a circular casting on the exhast port side of each rotor housing. Just drill out the inner hole. Notice how there is a ledge. That's to support the o-ring, so you DON'T want to drill out that area. If I recall, only the REAR housing supplies water to the turbo, so you only need to drill one housing. Verify this by holding up the TII manifold.

thank you everyone, I learned something new today

so filling the EGR hole in the primary ports is unessecary, at least for the risk of the motor. So I guess I wont do that then, I will just leave them blocked off at the top where the EGR valve was, and I will drill out a hole for the intake manifold on the rear rotor housing, one more question,

*whats the best way to remove the diffuser in the exhaust port, something about heating the pin and knocking it out, or simply grind it out and port it?

Thanks again

There is stuff about removing the sleeves in the FAQ section with a screw.
