FL Water Leak in the car 91 N/A

We had a bad down pour here is Davie. As I got into the car I saw water leaking by the dead pedal coming from the side. I sealed off the sunroof for right now. I will have polyurethane material used later as a permanent solution. But right now I need someone to please point me in the right direction as to what to look for to correct this problem.
ThankYou in Advance

Possibly the sunroof drain line is damaged.
If you remove the a-pillar trim you can see the upper half as it comes from the roof to the dash. I'm not sure where it goes from there.

Your windshield could be leaking. Mine leaks and it comes down by the dead pedal.

However, you MIGHT have a clogged or torn sunroof drain. If it's clogged, you can clean it without risking tearing it with something like a coat hanger by doing this...

pour half baking soda and half salt (Mixed prior to pouring!) down the tube and gently push it in as far as you can get it past the opening (You're just trying to get it away from the opening, not trying to shove it all the way down the drain). It helps if you have a syringe or something cylindrical slightly smaller in diameter than the tube.

Next, pour some white vinegar down the drain tube. Not a whole lot, just enough to get the reaction started and only slightly flowing. Let it sit for a few minutes or until you stop hearing it fizzing in there.

Get some very hot water (not boiling) and pour it down the drain tube until it runs clear out the other end. You may have to repeat this procedure a few times to fully clean everything out...but even for my uber nasty hatch drains it only took one time. You wouldn't believe all the gunk that latches onto the walls of the drain tubes!
