water in headlights.
i think this is a common problem with most fc's. over the weekend i took off the front signal lights and the high beam covers. there is always water inside the the plastic and it pisses me off. on saturday i took em off, wiped the water out of the inside. sunday morning ... water. so i did it again. but this time i screwed them down harder so to try and get a tighter seal. monday ... more water. im planning to go down to the local auto and buy some silicone sealant. will this work? how have you guys fixed this problem? or should i just buy new ones (if they are cheap)?

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
The turn signal seals do tend to dry out after 10-15 years.
But the headlights should not be leaking as the stock headlights are sealed beam

also, if your gonna open them up, and re seal them, you should probly do it on a dry day. because if you get really humid air trapped in them, they are going to fog up pretty quick

If you are talking about the FTP's... i drilled a small hole in mine and VERY SLOWLY blew air through the other hole thats ready there... be VERY carefull cuz mine actualy couldnt let air out fast enough and the guy that was squirting air let it blow up in my hand while i was holding it... Anywho the air did work... make sure the holes are on opposite ends

I'd just buy a new one? Sylvania halogen sealed beams run about $35 or so? www.autooptix.com sells sealed beam conversions.
