wastegate vented to atmosphere
Well if you compare it to the JDM dump pipe it would be pretty beneficial. It would be really loud but it would help control boost creep better and increase velocity. I'm going off memory so it might not be all that accurate.

Here was my thread on it: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...hreadid=259997 Hope it helps but I think muffling it would probably negate some/all of the gains.

CO poisoning might be a consideration
WG dumps can be useful to control boost creep. DsM guys do it all the time. On a 7 though, if you got stock turbo and unported wastegate its pointless other than the sound. Imagine this for the sound. Ever had a PC lock up and play the same sound in one long tone? BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP
IF the sound was a glass bottle breaking, thats what you get with a WG dump.
