wastegate porting concerns
s4 t2 stock turbo wastegate porting actuator concerns
I have a street ported engine, my friend was telling me to just port out the wastegate a little, but most of the stuff I have seen online, ports the hole so big, it needs a bigger door. Will jsut porting it jsut enough so the stock door works be sufficient for my street ported engine with all the bolt ons?
I was thinking about porting the wastegate, and using a valve off a cyl engine for the door. I was wondering if the extra thickness of the valve will cause the actuator to not open untill later? I dont have a boost controller yet, so im guessing I should get one?
Thanks guys

There are plenty of write-ups on this matter. Porting to the size of the stock door has worked for some, but the general idea is that unless you go to a larger door size (washer), you will have boost creep. And most likely a lot of it.
