WARNING!!!...to those with gutted cats...
Hello hello my people. For about $500 I have an almost 3" straight through exhaust on my car. Well, except for the 2.5" section for the first two inches of the Corksport exhaust. I can live with that. The canister has a 3" passage that is perforated (not louvered). If you live in an area patrolled by the noise gestapo (like SoCal), don't get this exhaust. It's as loud as it is pretty. 3" piping with a 4" tip. Doesn't look too big compared to the rest of the unit. Anyway, it's loud, loud, loud. I don't mind this, but some sissies might. But they can ride home on their girl bicycles, you know.
This exhaust is crazy. It'll **** off neighbors in other neighborhoods.
I like it. My car runs like a raped ape now. Excellent. It comes out of the driver side with a slight angle. Very attractive indeed.

im just wondering if its louder than an N1 with a straight thru from header/downpipe to tip. i was running that for a while, and it was pretty loud. im assumeing this is most likely the same noise.

It sets off car alarms in parking garages. How's that for loud? If I did get a mp3 of the sound, that would only describe the general sound of it. To understand how loud it is it has to be heard in person.

Jerk, come on man get an mp3 please. I really want to sound how loud it is. Is it a deep sound or a whine sound? and when you foot isn't on the accelerator does it sound that bad? Also I had a friend with a Lan Evo that blew his muffler from the missfiring system. Funny as hell. He got pulled over 10 times in 20 minutes heading home since he just removed his mufflers.

Since then I've been getting the usual flamage and popping. Well, at least until tonight. I've had pops that have been loud, but nothing like this. It felt as though the back of my car had lifted off of the ground. After this my exhaust was louder. Once I got home I was able to see what had happened. The driverside muffler canister had EXPLODED! Not just a little split, but completely wide open.
Let this be a warning to all of you out there with the gutted stock setup. Those flames and pops catch up to you eventually. The stock canisters don't like that too much.

I was just thinking about how tough the stock mufflers were!!
ReZ311: Gee, thanks for the heads up.
Thankfully the gas tank was saved by the heat shield.
No mp3's, sorry. I don't have the means to get some made.
