wanting 330ishrwhp and really what i need???

what Current car has...
s4 large streeport fresh rebuilt 15k
550/720 cleaned blueprinted
rtek 1.7
RB Rev2 full exhaust
3in intake
255 walbro
57trim hybrid/38mm gate
no emmissions/ps/ac

obviously I dont want to max out so 850 or 1200cc secondaries???
need a fmic ok thats as soon as tax return comes back.
and of course a W/B to monitor also taxes.

But question is what size secondaries leaning more toward 1200cc(did the fuel calc chart) for flexability but not really wanting to do 2.1 at the moment. 1.7&safc?

330ish rwhp feasible with stated above mods and plans? recomendations?
Just tired of backtracking and going really no where.
Much thanks

It might happen but why half *** it now? Just wait to get the 2.1 or go with a used Microtech or Haltech or something to properly control your fuel.

you need a real EMS, no piggyback bullshit. even the 2.1 is probably going to be lame as the rest, it is a time consuming ECU and doesn't give much room for growth so you will be disappointed in the end.

run 1200 secondaries and you will be fine.

For just 330whp the 2.1 will be fine, and I believe you get a discount since you have the 1.7 already.

yes for those power levels the Rtek is pushing it because you don't get much control over the larger injectors. And the lack of a laptop interface has been frustrating a lot of people, because you have to sit there and input the maps by hand on an old palm pilot

way back in the day i had an S5 turbo with 60mm trim. if i recall correctly turbonetics claimed they could only make 315hp. but i now find a few sites claiming 350hp. and how i was running 15psiand never got it on a dyno but i eventually melted it along with my wideband O2

you def need a better ems. a 2.1 will do the job (i made 305whp @ 10psi on what would be comparable to a bnr stg. 3 or 4 with a conservatively tunde 2.1) but what everyone else is saying is so true: you'll ultimately become fustrated and dissapointed with the 2.1. altho its really not needed, anything over 300whp and you should really have a "true" standalone IMHO. the drawback of the 1.x + safc is that you have no control over timing, which is pretty critical at the level your talking abt. i mean 330rwhp is more than double the original output of the stock s4 tiis!!

other than that, you need a fmic and more fuel. then just turn up the boost a bit and tune and you should be able to hit 330whp with ease.

also, abt you having a more flexible ems, i happen to live near you (think weve dealt together before) and have a zeal megasquirt forsale right now. full ms capabilities and laptop interface but its plug n play with stock s4 harness. pm me if your interested

(sorry if that last part was distasteful)
