wanna go turbo

I have an 1986 13B and am wanting to go turbo. how much hp does a stock 13B have and how much can it hold? I am wanting to do some porting during the rebuild so take that into consideration. Thanks Randon61.

it'll cost alot... especially getting a custom exhaust manifold... porting is good... you'll have to be creative...

As far as the manifold goes, get it done at the racing store, there custom turbo manifolds start at $325.

I have found a bare twin turbo manifold on ebay plus and then there is a complete set. They are both aroun $50. They are from a late model block. Will these work. The one that is complete with turbos has all the plumbing.

you cant put twin turbos on with any ease at all.

search for "TII SWAP" if you want to swap.

It is incredibly hard to just strap on a turbo onto an na. You are best off just going with getting the whole TII drivetrain, ECU, turbo and manifold, and block... or just rebuilding your NA, and buying a TII after it's rebuilt. Putting a turbo on a na fc is a huge amount of work.

noob about this and im sorry

ive been on this site for about 3 days just researching the 2nd gen and i have been reading a lot about this tII swap. I have been wondering when you buy the rebuilt TII does it have every thing needed ie turbo, manifold, intercooler, etc... have found that the ecu and drivetrain do not and those will need to be bought. Thanks for the help and I hope I dont get too much $hit.
