Walbro Fuel Pump Loud?
I just installed the Walbro 255 on my BMW 325i vert, and I can't hear it unless the engine is off. That may change because I haven't used it very long yet.
I went with the Walbro because a new BMW pump is almost $400.
It's also great for finding anyplace you may have forgotten a fuel line clamp after a complete fuel system cleaning.

I thought so.
Also, according to Rotary Performance, one of the best upgrades for the stock fuel pump, if you need more flow, is the FD fuel pump, and he said they've got them for right around $100. He doesn't like Walbro very much, either.

supra TT pump also does not pump as well as the whineboro.
my car has one, I honestly don't hear it unless the car is off, and even then I struggle to.
do you have all the sound deadening in?

bah, the walbro is "noisey" I suppose because its louder then the stock pump.
But you guys haven't heard loud fuel pumps until you've stood beside a churning aermotive A-1000. Walbro is a mouse compared to that thing.
But seriously I can barely hear it when the car's running.

I remember thinking how funny it was when I noticed my weed-whacker has a Walbro carb on it.
I was thinking "Sweet! That's gotta be like, another .08 hp, right there!"
