Are 3rd Gen and 2nd Gen Hubs interchangable

Hi

I need a new hub on the front of my 2nd Gen 1989 turbo 2. Are hubs interchangable with the 3rd gen?

Because the 3rd Gen hubs i can get from an auto factors for around £120, but the only way i can get 2nd gen hubs is direct from mazda at £295!!

So if the 2 hubs are infact interchangable then i can go for a 3rd gen item.

You could probably buy some used from someone on the forum and have them shipped to the UK for less than that.
