walboro fuel pump install

would like to know if anyone ever had a write up on how to install a walboro 255 fuel pump..
i searched in the archives and no luck

It's a direct replacement for the stock pump. Very easy job. Follow the FSM instructions for removing the pump (pg 4B-71). From there it's self-explanatory. I'd recommend the rewire if you haven't done it already. The Walbro draws a lot more current that stock.

it must depend on the type of walbro you use, my one sure as hell wasnt a direct replacement

what one did you use? i used a 255 and it sure as hell was a drirect replacement took me about 20min total to change them out very easy

ill 2nd that the hardest part was removing the screws that hold in the sender
