Question Volvo intercooler question

My brother came across a 740 volvo wagon with what he said was a pretty big front mount intercooler. I was woundering if this intercooler is efficient enough to handle about 12-15psi on a turbo rx-7.

yeah, those things are like ******* radiators, but I hear they still aren't very good, expecially for their size.

Radiator like? Yes. Thin too? Yes again. I'm right In the middle of the same Volvo Intercooler but I'm contemplating It's efficiency.

I just picked up the intercooler for $20. Dave under FC3S.org said that it can handle 18 psi.

I don't know if these are the same volvo intercoolers, but I would think so.
