My volt gauge doesn't work. Once in a blue moon, it will turn on when I start the car and it will saty on until I shut if off. I took the gauges out and all of the contacts seem OK. I think the problem is somewhere in the engine bay. Anyone have this problem before?

Nope. That doesn't do it. I've checked all cables and contacts around it too.
