It's not... Same with engine ports... A slightly rough surface is better...

are you sure that walbro will be able to hold up? Ive heard* from reliable sources that its good for about 400 hp, anymore than that and you'll be looking to upgrade. Unless its part fo a twin system i dont know about.

Did that black magic fan come with any brackets?

ok I'm going to tell you everything to get rid of from experiance! the centerforce dual friction was slipping on me at around 300rwhp and the xtd six puck sprung setup is slipping on me now at around 350 or so rwhp so neither of those are going to hold very well for your setup. here is something else to ponder on for a while. The RA seals are inferior to the mazda oem seals hands down. Yeah it's a great budget seal but is that what you really want in this setup? If I could take it all back I would have bit the bullet and got the oem seals. I went to Gotham Racing not to long ago and steve was showing me all these housings with strange wear that ruined them do to atkins and ra seals. Oem has more research and development in there seals period.

i understand where your coming from, but my engine builder has had nothing but good luck w/ ra seals.... hes running them on his fd, and is what he puts in all his customers cars (unless they request different) his fd is pushing over 500rwhp... and his fc was well over 400rwhp.....

same goes for the clutch... he ran the xtd on his 400+fc w/ no problems, now the centerforce is something i took upon myself after doing research.... my engine builder is kinda on your side, but i got one hell of a deal, and ill put it in first, and when it goes out, ill put the xtd in

Ive heard mixed testimony about the RA seals but anyone I speak with about them who has actually used them in their airplane has nothing but praise...however keep in mind the most power Ive ever seen from a wankel in a plane with RA seals was 240bhp on a stock turbo...

As stated before the apex seals are great, but I've read and heard that the spings will flatten out - not good. I used the RA apex seals and springs for my rebuild last summer. I hope I don't run into any trouble

no comment on the springs, I only ever asked about the seals themselves
