well the exhaust is a all cats hollowed out.. and i think the y pipe is bigger that stock


i know it has a idle issure any ideas

it does sound pretty good at the higher rpms.....

wow.. definately sounds freeflowing, lol. Sor the idle, it needs to be bumped up about 300-400rpm :P

it idles now at 1200 so it would be like 1500-1700 till solid idle

sounds like a Bridge ported motor when theres no exhaust on it

that idle is fucked, sounds like mine when my tps was bad. I bought a new one and it was a smooth idle, not this jumpin around crap

Other than that, sounds mighty fine my man.

it really sound like its ported... i bought the engine used, it very well could ported (i hope lol)

i will look into a nEw TPS

sounds like an air ratchet at idle

sounds fine at higher rpms though

Lol, do you guys actually get away with that? That's cool though. I bet that thing will drive you nuts in less then a week. I had a shattered Y-pipe and drove with that until my head hurt after quick 5 minute trips, then gutted my cats last week and installed a new Racing Beat y-pipe, it kicks ***.

Now I just have to get a replacement for my main cat. It was weaker then I thought, and developed a crack towards the rear when I was pushing into place to bolt it up, so it's louder then I'd like. I'm aiming for a Racing Beat presilencer if I can find one used for a good price.

I took a vid as well while I was re-grounding stuff today

What kind of mufflers are you planning on finishing your exhaust with?

hmmm, that's an interesting sound, is it ported? to me it doesn't sound like it is, just a mucky idle

yeah, to me it doesn't sound ported, sorry mate, but hey, now you get to choose the port you want

your exhaust dont sound bad i got a racing beat dp pre silencer for sale its 2.5'' for n/a rx7's PM me if your interested
