Nicely done. Rims look good too. I agree about the temp.....mine runs just under halfway on my stock gauge, even on 105 degree days with a/c on.

Nothing wrong with the temp, it's a S5.

weird. that's how it's always ran. few guys i know with s5's run at the same temp.... forcefed performance, the local shop here for rx7's said it was running ok. they're the ones that rebuilt my motor, i took it back to them after i had the motor in so that they could check it all over...

Nice Job! Car sounds solid.

Did you break the motor in before red-lining it? I hope you didn't mess it up.

All in all, wish I had friends and time like that.

umm if thats an S5 why is redline so low? usally a S5 N/A redline is 8k, unless it was an auto to manual swap????

on a s5 the temp gauge should always be at 1/2 mark, if it is just slightly above then it is considered overheating. did you guys use a OEM Mazda thermostat...only use OEM!!!

yeah i was in between jobs, so i had lots of time i needed the car on the road as my cavalier had just gotten totalled about a month after i got the fc my friend's are awesome though, and they wanted to see this car on the road as much as i did... it's payback time for me too, as next week we're doing pretty much the same thing to my buddy jeremy's 240sx

the motor was babied for 2000 k's before it was taken anywhere near redline...
