Vibration when driving

i get this slight vibration once i take off. then it goes away after like a second or two. then when i get to around 3k rpm it comes back again. if i let off of the gas it goes away. once i get on it again its start up until about 3500 rpm. it does this in every gear. i have no idea what it could be. it just recently started. itll only happen when it in gear. if i rev it up, its fine. could this be bad motor or tranny mounts?

I had the same thing happen to me and thought it was just the tranny going. well I pulled out of a parking lot and was just getting going and all of a sudden I heard this loud clang and a bunch of other sounds of metall, and thought my tranny just exploded. after getting it to the shop I found out that the rear u-joint broke and let go of the driveshaft. its a horrible sound to hear so get it replaced as soon as ya can.

I think iam having this same problem... I only get it when Iam about to go to a full stop from 5th or 4th, but end up not having stop and end up taking off from a low gear like second.
Sometimes it happens from stop, but only when i have been driving for a while.
Dunno if my clutch is going bad or what. It sounds like it is comming from the front where the tranny connects from the motor. Could it be a bad pressure plate????

Yeah, but don't also forget to check your rotogirders. when those go out there can be some major trouble.

Stop your worries! replace driveshaft! Had same exact deal with mine. U-joints are seizing up. Go to your local j-yard and pick one up and slap it in. GOOD AS NEW!!!!

How bad is the vibration? If bad enough it could have a bad effect on other components....such as "your transmission". I wouldn't wait man. It's very easy to replace. Cost of a good used d-shaft at the yard is about 50-75. Drop the exhaust, starting at the rear. Don't have to disconnect, just drop it and let it hang just enough to get to the heat shields and then unbolt the d-shaft and slide it out. When you look at it, you should be able to rotate the u-joint up down, side to side in circular motion. Mine was seized and would only allow me to move up and down. If you find that it's kosher, then your problem lies elsewhere, but I HIGHLY doubt that will end up being the case. Hit me up if you have any other questions.
