Very strange car problems.
Ok guys, answer this one!
As many of you know I have a 1988 TII 10th Anny Rx7. I just personally rebuilt the engine and removed emissions along with the TB MOD. I had a few bumps along the way and got to where I am now thanks to you guys. So on to the problem.
The car starts up great and holds a 2k idle without any fluxing while it is cold. Once completely warm it stays solid at 1500rpm. I know these are high but I have it set up high for the break in, even though it runs well and probably can drop them down now. So once the car is warm I take it for a ride, and it drives awesome. Around 10 minutes of driving it will bog/or miss one time when I shift. (Very suddle) Then once I stop the car and have it in neutral the idle will flux from 1500-1300, in a rythmic pattern and is perfectly fluxing 200rpm... no less no more. When I try to give it gas you can hear it get a little throttle action but nothing really happens. I can floor the pedal and all that will happen is it idles from 1600-1300.
The only way I can even move like this is if I ride the clutch but once I am almost off the clutch it bogs due to not getting enough fuel? And that is my problem and I have no clue to what it can be hehe. To recap it runs like a new car up untill about 10 minutes after warm up. It does it everytime, and if I dont drive it at all I can start the car and have it idle at 2krpm for a hour with no fluxing or anything, its only once I take it for a spin.
Please someone help me get this baby running so I can bring it down to my house. Right now it is an hour away at the brothers place. I was told by a member on the forum that maybe water thermo sensor? Any other suggestions, cause when I go up there I want to be able to try everything.
