I am not new to message boards, so I know to use the beautifull search function. I just bought an 86 GXL with 140k for 1000 dollars. Im planning to use this car as a track car, and bringing my 93 mr2 back to a street car.

1. Where do you guys purchase engines for swaps? I know www.venus-auto.com is 1 place for clips. Im looking for anything I can swap into an 86 body for good power.

2. Which engine will be the best bang for buck, and what are my options?.

3. Which engine will be the most reliable. (I know this is all up to tuning.)

4. This is just for fun, where can I find a 4 rotor engine? ( if this is worth it, I may do this!)

3. more power = less reliable, you make the call where you want to stop

4. 3 is enough, well no 2 is even enough, 4 would get you 1 gallon per mile, mileage
