Vert top replacement in Progress-Need a little info

I am in the middle of the vert top replacement. I am using both the writeup and the FSM. Everything is going just fine and I am ready to begin putting the thing back together this morning. I have found one thing not covered in either tome: the drain pockets and how to reseal the drain tubes to the new top.

I trimmed the old top away from the top of the tube. There is a 1.5" flat flange connected to the tube. I plan to insert the tube down throught the new top and seal under and over the edge of the flange.

Question is, what sealant to use? Any help would be appreciated.

I used black silicone adhesive. Just make sure that you wipe the surface down with a good degreaser or alcohal before trying to bond it.

For those interested...UPDATE

I have recieved several requests by pm so I am changing this to an update thread:

I bought my top on ebay from aabest and paid $300 for the front and the back section. I got the pinpoint vinyl in black.

The top is still in progress. I have about 6 hours into the project at this point, including removing the seats for easier access(also for another project, replacing the leather on the seats). I have the old top removed, the new one back on and will do the window tomorrow. (I have all the adhesives). Then I have to replace all the weatherstripping and interior. I am using a combination of the tutoral that is available on www.torquecentral.com and the FSM. The job is very simple, just lots of important little details.

I hear the Robbins top is a very nice top, but I think they primarily sell to installers. I was quoted $400 plus $800 labor to install a top at a local upholstery and trim shop.
