Vert top question

I was wondering if it is ok to take a vert through an automatic car wash, like a non-contact one, just jets of water, have always washed it by hand but I don't have a place to do that right now and I need to get all the salt off of it

you should be fine. everyone says dont do it but thats just because of the potential of water getting into the interior ... youll be fine.

you should be okay but i would still hand wash the car because if the jets are too close it tears the fabric like it did mine

+1 LOL

I went to a car wash in my vert once. The top had never leaked. But when the high pressure jets sprayed water on the top of my targa section in a forward motion towards the front of the car it kinda poured in thru the corners and I got my left leg a little wet. I didn't have a towel. So make sure you bring one just in case.

+1. Exactly what happened to me. Hold the towel up to the top of the window when the sprayer goes by.
