Question Vert BBS wheels for turbo?

I have heard you can fit 225 max on the stock 15" BBS vert wheels. I'm going to put a turbo motor in my vert, with an e6k and porting job (among other things). Will this rubber be able to put all the power down, or should I save $200 on the cars price and buy wheels and tires later? Thanks.

simply put no...... 225 on stocker will mess up the handling, and not really give you that much more rubber over 205's. save up for aftermarket with the proper offset to go bigger IMO

It will all be switched to turbo drivetrain. I might in the meantime, put my s4 motor from my other car in there. But I need to find out what is wrong with it first. It has some fuel problems.

no need to rub that in...I would like to get rid of the ABS system. I dont really know how easy that is, or how much it costs, but oh well.

i'm sure 225 in the rear will be fine. i'd go with a 205 or 215 in the front for now until you have more money for an aftermarket wheel setup.

Ive had hoosier 225/45/15's on BBS vert rims. It fits and doesn't look too bad, and 225 is plenty of tire for 200+ rwhp in my opinion. If you're putting down more than that, it might be better to invest in something that can take 245's.

I use 225/50/15 falkens on my vert BBS wheels that I only use for raceing.

Don't believe the guys with the comments that they don't work.

Remember the Vert wheels are 6.5 inch wheels. Pretty damm close to the 7 inch that turbos came with.

Here, you can see there is no edge roll at all:
