Venting blow off valve...

I just want to vent my blow off valve on my 88 turbo II into the atmosphere. I'm not to familiar with the engine yet so I don't even know where the blow off valve is. On all my friens they have their after the inter cooler, but from looking it looks like its right after the turbo, before the intercooler. Is this right? Or is it after the intercooler on the back side? And which tube do I disconnect in order to vent it. There is one that seems to go back towards the air box, but it curves off the other way after I follow it with my hand. Well thanks for any help.

Here's what I did...

the BOV is actually just a bypass valve, it bypasses the excess turbo pressure into the TID. all I did was disconnect it from the TID, put a cork in the hole in the TID, rotate the bypass valve 180 degrees (so the check valve was facing the firewall), and attach a check valve from home depot to the other end of the bypass valve with some rubber hose and some clamps. My check valve is located right at the firewall so the sound is heard much better. It's not too loud, but its definatley a very cool free mod. Also from what i hear, a plastic check valve makes more sound than a metal one.
