Vent Hoods

Anybody have any experience with the Panspeed or Sexy Style vent hoods that they have on rxecrete7.com???

Or any other manufacturers???

the stock tII hood looks better than any of the aftermarket hoods imo

It doesn't function for **** once you ditch the stock IC though.

stock hood is for exactly that "stock" I am looking for the one in the blue pic above. I will see if that will cool my temps down on the highway with the front mount. I am willing to be it will run at 180 with a reverse scoop and stock clutch fan

I turned the stock scoop into a single louver to draw air out through the holes in the hood, and it does work, above 10 mph, the temps are about 3 degrees cooler with it than a stock scoop till about 40 then it goes up to about 5 degrees cooler.. after 55 there is no noticeable difference, most likely because of the front end aerodynamics at speed, but it helps in town (and no dead bugs on the UIM!!!)

I'm not looking for cool, i'm looking to get heat out, period. I think I may have to try the panspeed, or the sexy style version 1

what about the ones dzltreen on the forum is selling? i think hes on vaction right now but i belive he is makign vented fiberglass hood.

yea, i wish dzltreen would make a bunch of those sick vented hoods he had a proto of a while ago. i desperatly need something vented.
