Does anyone know what the rotating valve is in the middle of the intake plennum? It has a little dash pot on it. Im assuming it affects the "supercharged" effect the 89's were designed for. It also looks like it opens the 6 port parts of the lower plennum.
I just got a dead 89 engine and it was in a flood. I think the internals are very damaged. The block is frozen. I was thinking about putting this throttle body on my 86. Id plug emissions.
